I have been designing and making jewelry for about 4 years. Many people are surprised when they find out I make each piece, by hand, one at a time. If it is not just right, it doesn’t leave my shop.
I draw inspiration from almost everywhere! I am often asked how I go about naming my pieces. Though a few of my pieces are named for children of friends, most of the time I complete a piece, place it on a bust and a name just sort of pops into my head.
Many of my designs are inspired by people who have touched my life. The Gail D is named for a friend who passed away after a long battle with cancer. A cancer survivor myself, I have named this piece after Gail to keep her spirit and memory alive.
